He was easily my favorite cartoon/muppet character as a kid. He was always civilized, well spoken, and his arms would flail around hilariously when he would spaz out.

So I went backpacking with a friend of mine through Point Reyes national seashore Wednesday to Thursday. Neither of us were really experts, but it was safe to say that we picked the perfect trail for our skill level.

It was a six mile hike starting at the trail head, and ending at the shore. On the way in, the incline was slow and steady. There really weren’t any obstacles to speak of… outside of the fact that the last mile of the hike in was probably at a 30 degree pitch, downward. This made for an interesting start to the hike back in the morning…

Industrial’s hayday was from the late 80’s until the mid 90’s. Noteable artists like Trent Reznor and Ministry, with the help of several other underground acts at the time, got the genre off the ground and into the main stream. The tunes, for the most part, were actually quite good… The ridiculous flamboyancy that is normally associated with industrial artists, however, is another thing entirely.

So I’ve been mulling over a few stray thoughts I’ve had about the not-too-distant future. Not the deployment, or even getting out of the Air Force… When I’m done, I’ll have four semesters of school left… three if I load heavy.

I’m not nervous to graduate and eventually move on to the “real world” or anything… I just finally realized what my greatest fear is knocking some girl up. A similar situation recently hit really close to home, so this kind of stuff has been bouncing around my mind a lot lately.

I’ve been in a heated battle with my web server the past few days. Apparently, according to my host’s service forum, at some point in the recent past they were HAXXOR3D by a band of rogue Turkish hackers.What are the fucking odds, I mean really?
